There are numerous places to visit during your stay; plenty of water sporting activities, scenic walks, restaurants and bars on the door step, including the historical town of Christchurch in close proximity. Located only a couple of miles in the other direction you reach Bournemouth where during the summer months Bournemouth is host to many attractions with spectacular weekly firework displays and the yearly airshow to name just a few. During the winter months the place comes alive with food festivals, Christmas fairs and out door skating rinks.
SOUTHBOURNE, DORSET
A suburb of Bournemouth, Southbourne features long sandy beaches that stretch for miles. The Green Flag award-winning Seafield Gardens are an open space just a short walk from the apartment and are a popular place for picnics complete with a children’s play area, bowls, tennis facilities and a Grade II Listed water tower. Southbourne is located on the coast to the eastern side of Bournemouth and is within walking distance of the historic town of Christchurch. Hengistbury Head AONB is also nearby as are Nautical activities on the River Stour at Wick.

Only a 5 minute walk and you will reach the golden sand beaches of Southbourne. Whether you want to sunbath and relax on the sand or take a long easy walk along the flat promenade the coastline stretches for miles.
